Fortamino is especially recommended for use when transplanting into hot or stressed growing conditions. The strong root system provides extra vegetative power to the scion in the early stage of growth, developing very good leaf cover and ensuring excellent recovery after experiencing unfavorable conditions. Grafting onto Fortamino rootstock will also increase the number of flowers per truss, the average fruit weight and fruit size uniformity, especially for large-fruited heirlooms. Fortamino is adaptable to both short and long season production.
